Jordi Gable Lopez, Director of bilateral program of the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation in Hanoi, co-host of the workshop, said he believed the project will help enhance living standard of the city residents besides cultural values conservation and tourism and economic facilitation.

Commencing in August 2008 the project’s fundamental components, including building up a centre for visitors, have been so far completed.

The imperial city of Hue, recognized as the world tangible and intangible heritages by the UNESCO is the start point of a tour crossing the Central Vietnam.

Rich in history and tradition, the city’s tourism is facilitated by its unique music and cuisine.
